Well, they pretend to care a great deal for certain groups of people, but numbers like this show who they actually care for. It’s the duplicity that bothers me personally. If they’d just be honest I’d have more respect for them.

Yeah. Stuff like that quote is how workplace violence starts. If you’re a manager pulling this stuff, I hope you’re prepared to defend yourself when there’s nobody around to save you.

We'd just have to guess/speculate why they labeled it 'misinformation'. Nobody actually believes YouTube has any qualifications whatsoever to decide that. It's not a valid justification unless you accept corporate

Same reason many people in sales are heavy drinkers - they wine and dine and entertain people to convince them to give them money, usually to their detriment, which is easier to stomach by all if they're drunk.

Excellent point. I agree these types of leaders are neurodivergent, just in a very different way from how most tech workers are.

I would personally be surprised if tech leaders are anywhere near as likely to be neurodivergent as tech workers in general. Too many MBA types and money chasers in tech over the last couple of decades and they're all going after thes

Oh yeah, it surely will. Time to say goodbye to DIE statements when applying to jobs and forced indoctrination in the workplace. This junk is on borrowed time.

I'm with you. Sad there's so little knowledge or trust in that knowledge that we have to just observe over a long time scale like this.

Linux is an IBM product at this point. Might as well use AIX. Makes me sad, but it’s done. With what they did to kill centos and rocky I’m switching our stuff to open BSD. Pushing these changes were strategic redhat business decisions m

Of course we’ve written both. I don’t even care if it’s better. Large part of the value of Linux for me is stability and lack of churn. I’d just as soon learn another OS if I’m going to put in effort. And I’d way prefer plain text files

New constitution and then rebuild the entire government. Federal government has way too much power and taxes and spends too much. Current combo of authoritarian and socialist policies will always keep wages down.

It is bad for society as a whole - it prioritizes the interests of citizens of one country. That's all countries are - groups of people competing against each others. There are winners and losers. I'm fine with this. It allows
