Ok, you really don't need to know everything about SEO to do a non-terrible job of ranking. Do these things and you can get traffic with SEO. 1. Title tags that get clicks (not kw stuffing or plain exact match) 2. Write content that is uniq

I don't think Rails-style MVC frameworks are going to disappear for a lot of content heavy internet sites, but API first architectures are going to continue to become popular I think. That is part of the reason I built radial https://githu

I realize it's just one data point, but I tracked my weight for a whole year basically and while my diet fluctuated somewhat, there did seem to be a strong correlation to weight loss and using cold therapy to activate brown fat. When I did

For your Emacs users out there who end up using/needing Eclipse on a daily basis, Emacs+ actually does a remarkable job of giving you a lot of the immediate wins of Emacs with the immediate wins of Eclipse. For larger codebases, this makes

I would agree that it is to some people the previous/current revolution, but I don't think the idea of starting with your API first has become mainstream and that is the point. When people start by building their API's instead of starting w

I'm not a huge fan of IDE's in general, but Eclipse w/emacs+ keybindings is actually a pretty good compromise on larger projects. It gives you the nicer feel of navigating the code emacs-style, but you still get all the advanced features li

I wrote a free weight tracking web app based on this idea. You track your weight daily. It gives you some simple analytics on your weight over time. It's a small thing, but tracking your weight every day helps it drop over time and keep you

AppEngine is a fantastic product, but every time I started using it I always had that nagging feeling that at some point the other shoe would drop (higher pricing, service outages, worse vendor lock-in) and the whole pricing change is about

Bada is more for lower end smart feature phones. As the lowest of the low end market gets more capability, you need an OS that's lighter than Android but better than the Java ME junk from 5 years ago. Thus, Bada. It's an OS for smarter dumb
