Governments don’t generally do it that way. Usually they just seize assets. That is because if you print exadollars then either the assets rise in value in proportion or beyond a certain point, implode, making the country as a whole poorer.

I have mostly good experiences with respect to the quality of products that I buy from Amazon. However, I think this is because I don't take recommendations at face value. Instead, I look at multiple products, research them, and evalua

I suspect that it goes beyond lip reading. Deaf people can't speak as well because there is no feedback mechanism of hearing their own voice. So you need a mechanism for them to communicate outbound in addition to the inbound lip readi

No I am not. If it was 113kWh net that would mean 25kWh (18%) is their buffer for a 138kWh battery. That Tesla battery has a 10kWh (9%) buffer for a 110kWh battery. That 25kWh (18%) buffer seems way too big. Also, Rob Maurer was guesstimat

Several observations: This is just how company politics works. Those executives wouldn't be in their positions if they didn't look out for themselves first. Also it is turtles most of the way down. This experience should be a good

I wonder if there is a good history of how the civil rights acts and Vietnam withdrawal actually happened. For instance, did the war protests really have that much effect or was it because the war was lost?

Just like 114 is greater than 110. Just like 200 is greater than 110. Just like 110.1 is greater than 110. Basic logic and basic math. 13. Guess a number greater than than 10. Must be 13. See I told you so. Hahahahaha. If you so believe it

There are people on Twitter looking at the underlying efficiency numbers for highway and city who think it needs higher kWh than that. That link is from 2020 btw. We will probably soon find out.

I have no issue with a capital gains tax. Nor do most people. The bigger issue is with just taxing capital. Also, this focus on capital is too narrow. It hides other forms of power that have captured our system: military, legal, media, etc.
