Curious what other approach you would take to do exploratory data analysis? It's so natural to me I can't think of another way that would be practical to achieve the same workflow.

to clarify - are you saying you use the Quest browser to connect to the vscode.dev environment? Or do you use an app like Immersed with a desktop browser? Just curious if the Quest browser is powerful enough for it and works well enough.

It's a very personal thing. Some people happily do it all day, others declare it a blurry mess. I'm somewhere in between. I enjoy doing stints of 1-2 hours in there just for a change of scenery and to help me focus. It's perf

Seems to be entirely a conjecture ... not based on even limited empirical testing. Which then links to the elephant in the room, which is that the theoretical basis of why GPT's work so well is not well understood in the first place. O

it's interesting I completely agree with you and it's a big reason I find Python irritating to write (compared to Groovy, Kotlin, Ruby, etc). However there do seem to be a lot of people that dislike this method chaining style and

Struggling to figure out what "cloud native" actually means. Unfortunately their own web site doesn't say and the CNCF web site they link to leaves me none the wiser. At a guess they are talking about applications being built

"Spatial computing" is 95% just a marketing term. Understandably Apple wants to project the perception they are doing something new here. So they invented a new term. There are a few novel aspects to it, but it's honestly jus

This isn't correct as far as I understand. The only part based on actual information is they aren't ordering new parts. They are still producing new headsets, and continuing to sell those based on the existing stock of parts. We d

that's a shame I assume though it has to run the things developers are compiling themselves (that is the whole point of it!) so things that are shared that way would be transferrable.

Amazing work! Very curious what the limits on performance would be for it. Could it ultimately offer a way to run Vision OS apps in a realistic way without having the hardware? Quest 3 could make a super compelling package for it (admittedl

Will be interesting to see how much this is a genuine business for Facebook vs just an opportunistic dig at Twitter/Musk. It's actually been kind of weird watching all the big tech just stand to the side while Twitter implodes.

It always irked me that public institutions embraced Twitter as a primary means of communication in many cases. It never seemed right that a private company was being put in between public functions and the the public which depends on them.
