To be clear, I’m not saying they will or won’t succeed! And the converse is true too! If through their actions FSD is ultimately delayed a year, then they contributed to extended the carnage of human driven automobiles. The point is the sca

Tesla doesn’t have to be safer now to follow this reasoning. If Tesla’s approach ultimately succeeds in getting FSD working and into the mainstream, then for each year earlier that happens than it otherwise would , up to about 30,000 liv

I think it’s common to underestimate the hidden complexity in things. Even the smallest widget can contain surprising amounts of innovation. Take the diminutive Apple iPhone Wall Charger - that little wart is the culmination of decades of s

It’s not suboptimal for the shipbuilders, or any of the thousands of people and hundreds of associated companies all the way down the supply chain. The fact that the end product happens to be a yacht is largely irrelevant to the economic im

You act like home-ownership isn't an absolutely essential part of the economy, or like driving roughly half the population from their homes is not an undesirable thing? Of course there are compelling financial products which incentiviz

I think calling them tokens and giving them acronyms like they’re a currency of some sort leads to a lot of the confusion. I mean, Java class naming wouldn’t be any better but “WETH” is just extending a base class with an interface.

Seems to me that Omicron is essentially a vaccine in its own right. Highly attenuated and extremely mild to non-existent symptoms. The best part is even the anti-vax crowd will be innoculated!

IANAL, but it seems to me that there would be a strong ADA/accessibility defense for youtube-dl as a user agent. The other major defense is that it’s a tool with significant lawful use. Many digital tools can be used to infringe. It’s

This seems like irresponsible speculation and insinuating that Marek is about to commit a felony? I’d rather skip the character assassination based on hypothetical future actions please, and focus on what’s actually happened.

We’ve made the vaccine free, and widely available. If there were still people waiting weeks to get a vaccine they want to take then I can see an argument why we should all suffer serious injury (like what’s happening at this school) to try
