My point exactly. It seems foolish that all matters of life and systems in general evolve and yet our economic structure must remain the way it is.

As would I, but I wouldn't get into an argument with someone about cancer research because I have never studied cancer in any depth. Except I'm not arguing. You've created an argument out of a thought, which is, to strive for stability an

You're looking for me to bring a wealth of academia and research to the table to match your high knowledge of economics. That isn't going to happen. I've never insisted that I know more or less than the average person. I continue to explain

Yes, yes! That we should look at other methodologies of our economic structure. An excellent viewpoint and debate starter. The Anti-Capitalism ideology isn't Socialism or Marxism or Communism. Capitalism isn't working the way society sees i

My use of the word "Sultry" will go down as possibly one of the worst uses. You (Peter Gadjokov, me thinks) and your HN persona are now forever attributed to petty point outs and hopeful karma bait. Congrats to that.

Of course, but the risk of misunderstanding is eliminated. Screenshots are great, but the misunderstanding is still possible. The point is moot, really. Who cares? They took the time to illustrate a few points. There wasn't any jive, grand

I don't understand pride for consumer products. Seems like being proud of a platform you had no involvement in is misplaced emotional banter.

Do Apple users think that Flash will transition 3 frames of PNG/JPG/GIF ads worse than a custom iAd/Apple solution? Trendy Adobe hate aside, how terrible could it possibly be? In actuality, not delusional fanboy opinion. Betting that it is

Article has some good points, but even my somewhat temperate view of Apple (I find the type of devotion a little like Scientology, to be honest) doesn't make me believe "Reader" is a nefarious scheme to overtake advertising -- although I am

Managing is a waste of time. Working smart is better. It's simple. We have a word for mock-up or comp . We have a word for prototype which is...prototype.

I'm picky because, as a coder, I have to personally deal with different variations of what people think "prototype" means. One client thinks prototype means "mock-up", another thinks it means "ready to go" after a round of QA. Surely you ca

Here's my very specific point: an IQ score changes enough, often and by many externality to be considered a form of intelligence measurement. To me, IQ is about as accurate as BMI. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IQ_reference_chart On a good

Not the best comparison. Your ability to compete in a 100m sprint isn't going to change drastically from one day to the other. IQ scores, however, do. IQ score is about as dependable as a lie detector on a sphincter-gifted defendant.

Not sure why I was downvoted. The premise to kill Flash by not visiting Flash sites gets me upvoted (trendy hate). I am sure there will be a force-fitted reason coming. I don't get the average HN user, I suppose.
