If you’re in California, you can file a report with the DMV since you presumably know both his license plate and his name.

The apps are only what you make of them. It’s like going to the gym, but for your mind. Are you willing to make mindfulness in to a lifestyle? If you are, it’ll be worth the money, just like a gym membership. I personally found that mindful

If you’re getting lost in thoughts unrelated to operating a motorcycle you need to take a break. That’s a sign you’re about to make a mistake. I think the OP’s point is your mind gets in to a flow of watching the road, feeling the bike, obs

Anker isn’t cheap though. If you’re looking for the cheapest accessory on Amazon it’s rarely going to be Anker. The problem is people buying the absolute cheapest item, which is most likely going to be from China. If anything it’s a testame

If the trend continues as you posit, I would expect private-sector unions to become a non-partisan alignment, similar to how social security is sacrosanct in US politics. Most unions form at places that are genuinely terrible workspaces whe

At this point, being let’s say a “transportation safety activist” in the Bay Area, they seem about the same. That said, I’ve seen Waymo still being too cautious relative to Cruise. Like I was waiting on the crosswalk with my bike at a 45-de

Heck I’m a high skilled, non-essential employee and I fell for this trap for years. Next year I’m using Cash App. But it’s wild what brand recognition can do.

I don’t think this, I know this. Today the Census dropped data showing there was a net population loss in SF and NYC. If you look at a map of energy use by county (e.g. Google image search for “energy by county”) it shows folks leaving plac

Unfortunately, the best remote setups are in low-density places with large homes. People moving from NYC and SF to Wyoming and Austin are going to be living in sprawl. There vehicle miles traveled (VMT) are going to increase: after all it’s

In the US you have this right. It’s called small claims court. You need to write the corporation a demand letter. If they don’t respond to your demands within the deadline you can begin legal proceedings. You don’t even need a lawyer. You j

I worked one place that did so. Our traffic was sharded over a couple dozen sites, but combined we were at US top-100 scale. Every site was on a very large bare metal box (sites were grouped together when possible, IIRC only one required it

Possessing CSAM if it’s for abuse-prevention is not immoral, regardless of what the law says. Saying otherwise is a slippery slope to saying judges, jurors and evidence custodians are also immoral. In fact if possession is so immoral, CSAM

This game was fun, but it’s way too easy. I suspect 90% of players score over 90 points. Do you have any data on this?

This would imply that minority groups make up 126% of TV actors. Even if that number weren’t mathematically impossible, reasonable people would agree that we’re not even close to even say 90% representation of minority groups on US TV.

The research was easy, but the development required billions of dollars and literal war-time production efforts (in the US the Defense Production Act was invoked). Drug regulators are also very conservative. Why take risk on making a low-ma

Correct, this is totally different than having a smart gas oven or stove. I too would never have plumbing or gas appliances hooked up to the internet. But my Nest thermostat is totally safe.

The TSA website makes it pretty clear that ammo and toy guns are prohibited as a carryon. Even though the website doesn’t say so, I think someone could assume this ranges from everything from shell casings to a fake ammo belt. Also FWIW it

Besides weapons, are there any frequently stolen, high-value items that people can’t just bring as a carryon? Like most electronics are explicitly banned from the cargo hold due to lithium batteries.

I was just on a 12-seater Cessna Caravan that had some sort of collision warning system, because I heard it alarm. It also had a graphic of the approaching aircraft’s relative position. Would an A320 not have a similar system? Likewise, bot

How does this happen? Shouldn’t the pilots see the approaching aircraft on radar (and assuming 3nm visibility) also see the approaching aircraft. This feels like a situation where a lot of things went wrong with multiple crews.

So men know words related to male dominated areas like physics, chemistry, electricity, crime and war. Women know words related to female dominated areas like fashion, grooming and women’s health. I hate to say it, but water is wet.
