Yes it's amazing. And for long complex commands, being able to just press v to drop into a proper vim to edit the command is very useful.

I can relate to this. Especially after intense bouts of focusing on particularly complex problems, I might experience thoughts and have dreams in strange logic / programming kind of modes, unlike normal linguistic thought patterns. And

Yes, you have a point. For example, if we consider algorithms, the grokkkng algorithms book is definitely easier to digest but maybe doesn't go as deep. So it gets you over a hump which might make the more advanced / detailed book

Do you have issues with online payments? Things where you are transferred to some banking page to enter some two factor authentication or something like that. That is one of the main issues I have when I do things like that, online payments

Where I live, Ireland, it is illegal to operate a phone while driving and you will get a fine + penalty points on your license if you are seen. This includes holding the phone up to your ear on a call. I assumed it was the same in most coun

Regarding the prefix key, I agree CTRL+R may not be the best default choice. But if it is easy to change then I think it is OK. One of the first things I do on a new system with tmux is remap CTRL+B to CTRL+A, as a screen hangover and I thi

In Ireland it's the same, everyone uses WhatsApp. If I share my number with someone, it would be much stranger for me to receive an SMS from them than a WhatsApp message. If I phone a tradesman, e.g. a plumber, and they ask for a pictu

Ya I noticed that too and I think it's a mistake. It's a one off purchase for non business use at least.

I guess it checks it when you actually try to dereference the pointer? On Intel too you still have to "repair"the pointer before you use it. It's definitely not the safest optimisation but it can be used to great effect when

In Ireland it would be very rare for me to see it in ice-cream or chocolate, and I'm fairly religious about checking labels. Plenty of sweets / jellies, but these days there are more and more vegan / vegetarian options.
