A quick google shows 'blackmail' definition can either be restrictive to secrets as you say or can encompass 'extortion' depending on the definition you use.

Yeah, I wouldn't really consider that a lifestyle business, maybe I'm wrong, but I guess I think there is a middle ground between lifestyle business and "high growth/big exit" business.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I've always considered "lifestyle" business to refer to something that pays your salary, but that doesn't really grow beyond maybe hiring an admin or two. Something like an Insurance Agent type

As others are pointing out, yes, it's reasonable to not publish an API that you've chosen not to invest in supporting forever. But it still feels like this is wrong even though we know the above. The reason it feels wrong comes b

The fiber in the salad will of course help you with the full feeling. Many vegetables are chock full of carbohydrates, so it depends on your goals. If that's the only source of carbohydrates you are probably doing great, if it adds o

Never got better than 19 minutes when I was in the corps, but at 37 I can still do a 25 minute 3-mile, so I call that a win.

I think maybe I wasn't clear. Normally when you eat, you expect to not feel hungry any more. In particular, if you are targeting a calorie deficit or weight loss you look forward to that "joy of food" sensation, a big part

Delayed onset muscle soreness? Super common, practically ubiquitous with strenuous exercise. Pyramid set a bench press to your 3 or 4 rep max, or widowmaker some squats. If you aren't sore you have some sort of mutant super abilities.

I really did enjoy this article. I don't think there is anything new here, but it's presented in a very "mass media friendly" way, which is important for finally defeating the "just eat less" mentality. Of cour

ultra-low to no carb on a daily basis has severe issues with it as well. Things like carb-cycling, or low (but not ultra-low) attempt to address those issues. The main points being (1) brain needs glucose, can't fuel any other way (2)

Hey, why the p90x hate? P90x is not the most hypertrophy inducing workout in the world by a long shot, but for fat loss, some muscle increases, vaso-dialation which will help when you go heavy again, and flexibility, it's one of my fav

While I agree with the end sentiment "Crossfit is not a great program" I've got several problems with this article. 1) A lot of discussion of being sore. Sure one of the first things mentioned is "I've been sore be

ignostic, I agree with you completely. One of the key differences I think, is that you think as a professional manager of people. The author thinks like a "do-er", a contributor, and is looking for people who work like her. She

ASP.NET MVC shares a ton of the common infrastructure with ASP.NET webforms. It's true that when there was only webforms, there was no need to distinguish and it was all called "ASP.NET". However, MVC and webforms are now
