Damn near all of them. I would challenge you to find a defense attorney who would, in general, advise you to consent to a search even if you "have nothing to hide."

I don’t follow. Wouldn’t supplychain be equally a problem for third party repair vs apple insisting they do it in house?

They don't sit around with zero dollars either though, right? Even without a wealth taxes there are situations where someone may need to borrow or sell assets to cover a tax bill. The billionaires will be ok.

Maybe if you only read the headline? I find the article pretty clear, though brief and not very well written. The actual report it's discussing is crystal clear. The situation is that the wealthy keep getting wealthier without generati

Seems silly to debate a hypothetical tax you extrapolated from a single sentence. The "billionaire's tax" Biden proposed earlier this year is closer an income tax that also includes unrealized gains and only if there are tens

A wealth tax doesn't need to be perfect to be better than not having one. The wealthy will always have access to the best lawyers and accountants who can find ways to gain an edge here and there. That's o; or at least it doesn

It's called "Buy, Borrow, Die" -- in that scheme no one ever pays capital gains tax. https://www.propublica.org/article/the-secret-irs-files-trov...

Yes it does though? The legal entity of the company still exists, it’s just no longer conducting business or paying employees. Thats a mass layoff. The California version of the WARN Act explicitly covers terminating business operations.

I think most providers have a shortcode you can "forward" spam texts too. Based on my experience with T-Mobile the reports just go in a circular file. The same number could keep sending the same message and it isn't blocked b
