What do you mean how they react to Android? Is Android doing something new tomorrow that they haven't been doing for the past few years? So far Apple hasn't had to react to Google in this regard and I haven't seen anything convincing me tha

Came here to say this. If Gizmodo truly burned this guy then yes, they are way out of line, but in this case it seems pretty obvious to me that Apple knew who lost their phone a week ago when this all started. The proof is in the first para

I actually mentioned in a reply above that the iPad will never be a good machine for development. Honestly, life is too short, I'm not going to sacrifice quality because of a fear that at any moment my bag may be stolen. It's also pretty ea

I have a Macbook Pro, I just don't like lugging it around on trips when it's overkill (the sucker is 5 - 6 pounds easily). A netbook? I hope that's a joke. Why would I want a cheaply built, underpowered (I'll bet the iPad out performs most

Same, and when I hooked up a bluetooth keyboard for the first time and propped it up like a regular screen I type at 100% speed. The Apple bluetooth keyboard and this thing are almost the same size, so on trips I'll be able to answer long e

Could you really name a touch enabled Tablet to me without searching? I know I couldn't name one. There is also that nifty little stat about Apple being the worlds largest Tablet seller after their first day, so when it really comes down to

Am I the only one starting to see a pattern here? Why is Google suddenly following in Apple's footsteps after every new product?

I'd also like to clarify that I don't think iAd is even a competitor to The Deck or Fusion. Those two services have their niche carved out and their partners are VERY happy with their relationships. I don't think either of them are going an

I actually specifically mention The Deck in the article and that it's very similar. The difference? This is about to be in front of everyone who uses free apps on the app store (assuming iAd adoption is good). That's a lot of people. Essent

Girlfriend reaction: "Wasn't this in Microsoft Word 10 years ago? It had a cute dog." Take that for what you may. Cool concept, but I don't think this is something I'd ever pay for. GetSat or Uservoice could kill this in one update. There i

Way too much cynicism in this thread! I thought that was a great way to put on hold a blog I've always enjoyed reading over the last few years. Congrats and best of luck, Alex.

It's also curious that the iPad application RFS was released 3 days ago and presented an extremely tight deadline on applying with that in mind. Now there is plenty of time to apply if you've got the iPad in mind for YComb.
