I’m studying for interviews. Also unfortunately don’t have adhd medication for another week. I have to take a walking break at least every hour to make any progress. It really is a life saver for me right now.

Vr chat? You mean the weird vr social game for furries and anime fans? I think your comment illustrates to me the disconnect. The criticism is hyper focused on that one app. The quest 2 is a fantastic device. And the software for it is actu

You are thinking with present limitations and I mostly agree. I can actually take a drink with the headset on but the bulk does make it odd. But these next gen headsets are much more compact. Check out the vive flow, and then the nvidia pro

I listen to my phone/AirPods daily over Wi-Fi and cellular and walk up to 3 floors away from the phone to my basement with barely a stutter.

I was really tempted to try out the c# support but I opted first for the rust godot bindings and then the nim bindings. Nim is working fantastically. I was a bit worried because the bindings are not really actively developed but from my exp

I think calling waylaid malicious is insane. What’s malicious and ignorant is this comment. I’m pretty sure wayland just follows the small core with plugins strategy. If you prefer the kitchen sink way then whatever. There are official exte

I've liked Nim for years. Just jumped back in to use with the Godot engine. I originally went with rust (not by choice but due to an important dependency), and switching to Nim made me so much more productive. In this case I don't

This is why I don’t take criticism of gnome seriously. Why exaggerate. This is hardly a “bevy” of extensions.

Can't really say I dodged a bullet because I'm not employed either way but I was about to get an offer from them a month ago when I decided it just didn't seem like a place I wanted to work at. Not regretting the decision at

Ha, I never heard of any textbooks gain significant popularity either. I guess reading textbooks attracts audience with low motivation. In seriousness though why do you think any educational game would ever gain popularity anywhere close to

You should check out the regolith project then. It’s pretty awesome, I just wish someone would start an equivalent project for sway.

I'm just a hobby game dev but I'm super glad I chose to stick with Godot. It has always felt very intuitive and the alpha for version 4 is looking super great too. I don't know if Unity cares about 2d games but to me it seems

I agree about the movement. I have a lot of fun playing on my quest 2. Fortunately I don’t have any problem with motion sickness so i can turn on joystick movement because it’s better to me than the teleporting but still kind of weird. One

It is terrible. My parents were foster parents to two girls at different times. One was from a foreign country and had been previously adopted. A history of abuse and fetal alcohol syndrome meant lots of behavioral issues. We ended up all g

Just got AirPods 3 and pro to try out and I have not had it just fall out that way with either. I have fumbled with the 3s while trying to remove them while walking. I think it’s the stem and how light they are.

You discovered the one area that doesn't work well yet. Dev tools don't work great because they typically need access to just about everything. They either ask for very broad permissions or the app has to add support for portals -

I really like the tab view by domain. Seems like it could be handy to even display pages on the domain from history in those columns, sorted by most recently visited. Maybe also grayed out a little or under a "history" section
