Interesting that remote working is one of the key demands. I wonder if this is what will finally get tech workers to appreciate the value of unions.

You have to use some metric to define 'intellectual' and those all seem like reasonable ones to me. I don't see why you'd consider most of those as appeals to authority. Teaching at Harvard and tenured Professor perhaps

I always hated football myself but if he's into it look up the stories many coaches/managers tell of how they recognised future top players early on because of their discipline/work ethic. Those might inspire him more.

But in this case if everyone thinks that way and buys an SUV the world in general is less safe for your family and you're in fact to safer from having a bigger car, if you ever were which seems to be debatable.

The important difference though is that most security camera's aren't publicly posting the footage. I'd expect most people to be upset if a shop started live streaming everyone that went by the street.

It's also why hyperfocus is common and more extreme in ADHD. You can't always control it but when you do get into something everything else becomes a blur and you can go for hours because that high burst of dopamine obliterates ev

Could that be a learned adaption to ADHD rather than a directly caused trait? Or just hyper focus? I do have a pet theory that many of us ADHDers develop habits to overcompensate but do so early enough that we don't realise they'r
