Typically the model is pre-trained and you're just training the last layer, or adding a new layer, which is much much less computationally expensive.

Here's one of the things I read: https://www.npr.org/2019/09/10/759376113/unfurling-the-waste... Another comment on this thread says it's all fine and I'm wrong, which is good news.

Even for 2020 that's a pretty obtuse misreading of what he says. Please let me know what stocks you're long on so I can short them?

This isn't the only study, and this isn't new information they've found.

Jason Fung talks about this in his books. Independent studies find artificial sweeteners raise insulin. Industry studies mysteriously find no link. Also, injected glucose doesn't raise insulin like swallowing it. The world is a big wei

Presumably high IQ people are more predisposed to immigrate anyway. It seems strange to need a second test, maybe my hypothesis is wrong.

It's a reputational thing. We call on the great and the good because they usually have no skin in the game, so they're impartial. They have a reputation to uphold so they'll do the right thing. It cuts through all the local p

Neal Stephenson analyzes this in Snow Crash. You need to reprogram their brains via subliminal random looking screen images and divide up all the work so nobody has a complete picture. Problem solved.
