- kgarten 6y agoCan you point me to a rebuttal of his points? I just hear a lot of IQ fanatics calling he is wrong, yet haven’t seen anything that takes his argument apart. Also seeing the history of IQ, I don’t trust much in these tests https://www.wnycstudios.org/podcasts/radiolab/articles/g-miseducation-larry-p#ember17634892 https://www.wnycstudios.org/podcasts/radiolab/articles/g-mis... I mean if we don’t know what we are measuring, how can we be sure we are measuring it. Do you have a definition for intelligence?
- runawaybottle 6y agoYou know what else correlates to income and wealth? Income and wealth. Why use an intermediary metric? Anyways, the point of skilled immigration is not to only favor the rich or the only favor the poor. The point is to get above average people with clear proof of success in academia or professionally. Our refugee system is for those who need sanctuary. Our diversity lottery system was for increasing diversity in our population. Each path is for different things, but we don’t have a IQ Visa.
