Their self driving cars do work? I rode in one for 30 minutes one-way on Sunday. Used it for my return trip too. No driver. Take at least 2 - 3 rides a week and have been for a few months now.

Weird. Should tell that to the Waymo that drove me 20 minutes from my home to a restaurant downtown last night. I was the only human in the car, located in the back seat.

I'm wearing a lot of hats at the moment since we're still in startup mode so the list is pretty varied: - I ask it to create list of questions that different personas might want to answer with our reports section. I then ask it to

- The cars are very safe, very conservative drivers - The interiors are nice, well air conditioned and don't smell - You don't have to talk to a person, which I don't always hate but have had some bad experiences. This just r

I live inside the original area in Phoenix where they did their training. I have to give kudos where it's due. I originally _hated_ their cars constantly driving around our neighborhood, but I was persuaded to try one a few weeks back.

I've been using UniFi cameras for a couple of years now, writing to a local SSD (~ 40 days of storage), stored in a UDMPro. The initial outlay is a bit more expensive but the setup is rock solid, provides tons of network analytics, has

Our whole team does .NET development using VSCode on M1 MacBooks. Our primary API is C# / .NET Core & front end clients are all in React / React Native. We love it. No friction points that I can think of off the top of my head

I really enjoy my 3D printer but the number of real use cases is fairly low in terms of day-to-day utility. This is exactly the kind of thing that makes me excited about the future of the hobby.

We're irrationally excited about this internally and we're super happy with how the Vercel team has continued to push Next.js forward. Thank you! We're using a version of the persistent layout pattern Adam Wathan [blogged ab

What do you mean “fully backed”? The last time I checked on USDT (which was a while ago) I thought they admitted it was a fractional reserve, primarily denominated in undisclosed commercial paper. Additionally, they had not yet received an

Really a poor decision to come after Brian Krebs. The crossover between Ubiquiti customers and people that support Krebs, I would venture to guess, is quite high. What a way to incinerate a pile of goodwill.

Really interesting. I’ve been wanting to try Remix out for a bit after heavily investing in Next. Side note: seems like there is some sort of issue when swiping back on iOS Safari. Periodically getting flashes of the incorrect content.

I think you’re misinterpreting his statement. He isn’t making a claim about elderly death rates. He’s saying the pandemic (both the disease and other effects) is affecting a younger, working cohort as well, based on their available data.
