Wow. Really bad news. Is there a way to automate looking at packages published pre September 2020 and compare the contents to publicly available repositories? It wouldn’t cover all possible malicious packages but it seems like it would be a

Change your login path to something like /custom-admin. Then create a page rule to captcha any attempt to access /wp-login. What traffic other than bots is going to go to the old login page? You can change the login link to go to

I used this once to debug live with coworkers. Now I use it 100% of the time for local builds. Super useful when doing front end work and you want hot reloading across multiple clients & you don’t want to lose things like Cloudflare Wor

I have an old Medium account with the partner program activated. It doesn't earn a ton but I'm averaging ~ $10 per 2,500 views. 50k => $1,000 seems steep, but maybe their category is worth more. In addition, you can earn more f

Yes, let’s compare the number of BMW dealerships in the Bay Area instead of comparing the number of dealerships Tesla has in comparably sized states where they have no restrictions. Also, we’ll cherry pick blue states from a list of partial

Only two of the states you mention have a total ban: Wisconsin & Connecticut. The others you pulled from the list of states that have partial bans ie a limited number of stores are allowed. Out of the states with total bans: New Mexico,

While availability of capital is (in my experience) critical in the decision for South American startups to create a Delaware C Corp, another overlooked piece is the amount of bureaucratic hoops you’re forced to jump through elsewhere. Foun

We really _wanted_ to use Stripe Atlas for our startup but ended up using Clerky for various reasons. Neither will get you all the way to the goal line, but both give you a damn good start. You’ll end up finalizing some things with your acc

I am very confused by the title and the subsequent page here. Goodbye Y Combinator? How does a $12k tuition, 6 month sleeping-in-sleeping-bag program have anything at all to do with a wildly successful incubator? These are not the same mark

This is a strange take considering Facebook is distributed for free in the App Store with the current model. Apps paying the 30% tax _already_ subsidize Facebook’s distribution.

This is the most reasonable response in this chain. The number of unintended consequences this "research" could have caused is not quantifiable. This entire episode is shocking, disgusting, and should not be forgiven easily. Actio
