My test suite takes about 5 deep breaths to run. An excellent opportunity to close the eyes and take a nano break.

So a better way to relax from mental work (between pomodoros), might be to avoid hacker news and social media, and instead do meditation, naps or walk in nature?

I have a Nentatmo CO2 monitor in my apartment. I discovered that during training on a stationary bike, the CO2-levels exceed 1000ppm. Probably due to increased breathing. Therefore I increase the ventilation when I do a workout

I gave a handful of talks/presentations at various local meetups that has resulted in most of my inbound requests. Also participating in hackathons has been good ways to get a network and to be noticed.

The sorry state is that a chain is not stronger than the weakest link. And a food is not healthier than the worst ingredient/compound. A "good" nutrient does not make up for the bad/ultra processed additives. Stay off th

These myths can be useful flags for quickly debunking an article/book. A sign that it is not worth reading the rest.

I agree. I'd think it would inhibit the cognition. Just by the fact that it is ultraprocessed "food". And we don't see smart people drink sodas.

I started to meditate in 2007. Only 10-minute sessions. The change I noticed after a month, was that I woke up with a dream almost every day. Before starting meditation, the dreaming was a few times per year. Perhaps the meditation creates

Hi. I don't do any journaling or reading by intention. The purpose is to try to stay in a meditative/mindful state. However I do note down ideas in a notebook if they come up, but I don't sit down to write.
