#4 is t correct, or rather it’s helpful but in a counter intuitive way. On its face, it’s very hard to exercise away a donut, but daily exercise causes your metabolism to pickup and you burn more calories for the rest of the day. Additional

It will be interesting to see how the numbers shake out. I've just known too many drivers that can't even keep a constant throttle, so making throttle response instantaneous is problematic. Analogy: my kid has an electric dirt bik

Sure but what if that scion FR-S now has an electric motor at the same price point? Or the Prius gets an electric motor at that same price point? That's the thing with electric cars, you can make most of them insanely powerful off the

People stop reporting. We have had an office break-in, multiple car break-ins, none reported to the police. They don't show up for hours, they can't do anything, and it doesn't change the situation for the reported. Easier to

What I feel much of this misses is the effect of exercise on metabolism. You have two energy pathways in your body, the quick glucose burning pathway and the slow and efficient fat burning pathway. By getting your heart rate up into the edg

100% in agreement. Fuel should be much more expensive and should find remediation efforts as well as investigating / building out alternatives. The problem that I struggle with is that disproportionately harms poor people. I can afford

Pretty dang good for an 8500lb vehicle with a 14,500lbs towing capacity! Again, better than owning two special purpose vehicles.

Depends. Come live out west on some acreage, own a tractor, build stuff, etc. Pretty easy to end up in the place where it makes sense. All my neighbors have large trucks and a "legitimate" reason for them, as long as you consider

Ahhh yes, the "for my cause and values it's OK and worth it, but for yours, not so much". Even in this example alone you neglected to consider the number of trucks that are used to tow something. Say you need (or want!) to to

I just dug a grave for neighbors dog with my backhoe. He then shot the dog, who was going senile and started to get violent. I personally would have called out the vet but he’s done it this way, his parents did it this way, his wife’s famil

Neighbor had 16k in damage from the raccoon living under porch. Found a screen into crawl space, destroyed water pipes, flooded crawl space and caused extensive water damage to flooring. Gut and remodel bathroom and adjoining wall.

Or a human who is tired of his small children picking up literal cat feces from the feral cat who is pooping in their planters. I would recommend looking up Toxoplasma Gondii. You can also enjoy this classic comic to help re-align you on ho

I do agree pellets are mostly cruel for a creature that size since they don’t ensure a clean and quick kill.

That was through the wall not the ceiling. Bullets fired into air and returning to earth (assuming straight up so little to no horizontal velocity) don’t have the kinetic energy to go through a roof and kill someone.

Or, a feral cat who has been shitting in your planter boxes and eating your birds is fair game. Easy to treat it like a raccoon that decides to live under your porch, there’s no difference.

I did both, moving out of a big city in middle of pandemic. Socialization became 10x easier the moment I moved. Anecdotal etc etc, but people are more friendly and more outgoing where I moved vs where I moved from.
