WebGPU is a pretty good starting point, that's what I did myself (with C++, not Rust though, which should be even more straightforward). You can even use it in the browser and skip all the native hassle. Just learn the basic concepts l

Maybe that's why it's used ? Twitter is just addressed to the public, so it's not official in any way, it's just communication. The lowercase casual style is only used to drive empathy probably.

Take a new software, like Blender or Gimp, and you'll totally have to do things "manually" via the menus before memorizing the "shortcuts" that will boost your productivity. It's nice for discoverability, acces

It's a shortcut because it's an alternative (and faster) way to access a functionality. There's no other way to get the letter C than to press the C key on your keyboard, therefore it's not a shortcut. Saying that using

Exactly what I had in mind, you nailed it. With some focus on improving the UI (a list of premade prompts, or a simpler way to make them) it could become widely used. Also, I think using the OpenAI backend is a huge blocked. I wonder how a

WebGPU is different because it's an abstraction of Vulkan, Metal or DX. Yes, the fragmenting is bad and annoying, WebGPU is the only graphics API that Apple agreed on and that would be truly natively cross-platform, but it's still
