I know it's infuriating but that's how marketing works, and since they are a successful company, idk why they would stop using it. Just like some people say "RTX" instead of RayTracing now, it's quite a success for

No, it's not because it's art, it's because it's okay if all websites look the same, but regarding games, mostly 1 or 2 or its kind will survive, the others have to innovate or will be seen as sub-copies. On top of that,

Thanks for the details. Well it sucks when there's a bug that deep for sure. Maybe it got solved in the 4.0 ? And with more and more people adopting it, I assume the regressions will be less frequent.

I don't think it's true, Blender happened to work and is now used by professionals, but some tools like PhotoShop or Adobe Premiere, Ableton, or even Word/Excel for that matter, don't have an equivalent that could replac

I am curious what issues you ran into. Also, there are about 50 games per year released with Godot on steam, so there are definitely people pulling it off

Well, godot does 3D as well as 2D and has a fully-fledged GUI editor, so I don't get the comparison and in what regards Love is "better".

StackOverflow is a bad example, because you see the context, and this is what is definitely missing from ChatGPT. On SO, you see the votes for this answer, you see the date, you see the comments, you see the user who posted it etc. etc. Whe

Why is better for this than other languages ? The issue is that it forces you to apply a specific paradigm that may or may not be suited for your use case, and makes it extremely hard to apply other paradigms that you also may need. It'

I would say it can take an infinite amount of time, if you have bad management, scope creep (or no defined scope at all), high turnover, obsoleted core technologies, and if people give you money even if you don't do anything anyways

The majority of the team is actually said to be working on the "solo" project which is Squadron 42. So they have an excuse for the sluggish development pace. Funny thing is, there hasn't been a single footage of SQ42 in 5 yea

Carbon emissions are also long-term plans. When you open a coal mine (which they do) or plan for increasing nuclear power, you have to plan decades in advance, which is why we should have started all this yesterday

No, because there are still other issues like context length and performance. AGI is not very useless if you get one token per hour, and when it forgets about what you talk about 10 minutes ago because it ran out of context

It will happen, we all know it, and people are most certainly thinking about it. But it shouldn't be opposed to reducing CO2. Even if it is already happening, reducing CO2 will (most likely) also reduce the warming itself, and make the

I think you are naive to think that crypto has no role to play in Brave browser. 66% of the tokens are given to the investors, and Brave is a for-profit, which obviously mean that investors will want a return in their investment someday. I&

I have a serious question about Brave. I would be glad to use it, but I am a bit scared of the fat that it is linked to a crypto (I didn't dive in the tokenomics, but maybe the team is driven by the money ? or other shady things ?), an
