Sam's is more upscale than Wal-Mart, but in my experience it is very much the "Wal-Mart of warehouse stores" in that it feels less nice than Costco in the same area. I'm sure it varies, that's just based on the ones

This reminds me of something I have been wondering. If my goal is to programmatically create beautifully typeset documents (on par with modern high quality books or magazines), are there any great options? I don't care about mathematic

Yeah, this is a bummer for me. I don't really like crew cab (either how it looks, or how it compromises bed length vs. overall truck length), and this really doesn't need it.

First, there is a difference between precision and accuracy. I’ve had cheap thermometers that are 10-20 degrees off. That does make a difference. Second, for the thermapen it’s really about very fast readings and durability more than accura

This is all well and good if you build your product from the beginning with the vision that it will some day be sold by sales people to huge companies. But if your expectation is that it will always be self service, a bunch of design and en

I have some direct experience with this kind of thing on the vendor side and here is how it happened: 1. Launch a SaaS app that people like, with self-service signup and monthly billing by credit card. 2. Continue to grow and become more su

For me a touch screen as a remote is even worse than the terrible Apple TV remote. I like being able to pick it up and use it without looking at it (and without lighting up the dark room if we’re watching a movie or something).

These apps do not intercept the calls. All they can do is call an API to tell the OS a list of numbers to block. This is good from a privacy standpoint but bad from an effectiveness standpoint, because apps can't do any real-time analy

Correct. I have a hierarchy of priorities, and pretty much the top of the list is avoiding stops/layovers/plane changes. If Southwest has a nonstop flight and the others don't, I will fly them regardless. That's the case
