Agreed. You can't blame this on testing only on Macs, because it's bad on my Mac too.

I like the idea of a community that truly doesn’t need cars. I don’t like the idea of living in a community built and owned by a YC company. I don’t need Uber for housing.

I know people who quite successfully use it in place of a pump, along with a single basal shot from a pen each day. It’s just a small inhaler with disposable plastic dose dispensers in various numbers of units. It because it works so quickl

Have you tried the inhaled insulin? It takes effect MUCH faster than any injected insulin, does it’s job, and is out of your body quickly so also reduces the risk of stacking. In some ways it is not as convenient as a pump, but it works muc

The concepts and terms of incident command are not from the military (or ER as another poster suggested). It's from the fire service and emergency management in general. I don't know if that changes peoples' perceptions and I

Funny how this thread basically proves the author's point. Even with most of the replies that claim to agree with her, they include one or two "tips" on how to handle cast iron. If you collected all of the advice and tips in

Yes, this is exactly what threads are for. To get a side conversation out of the way.

I truly don't know how anyone can believe a word Elon Musk says at this point. I'm not saying I trust Bezos either, but Elon has burned any shred of credibility he ever had.

I can't help but feel sorry for the Slack engineers who are used to working at a nimble and innovative company, and now will be beaten down by bureaucracy only rivaled by large governments.

Right. As the owner of a single-family home, I control my destiny. Yes, I may pay more dollars to replace my roof than I would pay to replace the roof on a condo building. But I am in complete control of when it happens, who does it, and ho
