I'm suggesting that Bumble shouldn't be the judge of what messages are appropriate to send or not. But they absolutely should provide filtering tools and feedback to users to reduce low quality or obnoxious behavior. I don't

I was permanently banned from Tinder for trying to upload a picture of myself holding a pepper from my garden. I can only assume that Tinder's AI thought the pepper looked like an unacceptable body part. I am absolutely in favor of usi

The rich are always going to have advantages over the poor. The point of banning cars isn't to punish the rich or to make everyone equal. The point of banning cars is to reduce the traffic and pollution on the street and make the city

I'd be willing to bet that the air pollution from a 9 month construction job is outweighed by the air pollution from steady car traffic for years. And as someone who has been robbed in traffic multiple times, I don't think traffi

I really strongly believe that city centers should ban cars completely with the exception of taxis, service vehicles, and special permits. In some cities, it might mean investing more in public transportation infrastructure, and parking on

TL;DR turn on signed commits and 2FA, don't commit secrets, and be careful with dependency vulnerabilities. Doesn't really seem like "a ton of work".

As a person who rides motorcycles, I find it interesting that it took a doctoral dissertation to conclude more lights = better. I guess it's another example of why practical experience > academic knowledge.

I'm from Ohio, and even before the apps, it was common to hear stories about people being poisoned by mushrooms. It's also relatively well known (though not well enough, obviously) that there are several species of toxic mushrooms

It seems like owning an iPhone is a good way to protect yourself from a lot of this. But if you're an Android user, couldn't you buy a burner phone for these two apps, to avoid installing them on your primary phone? I don't t

It's not personal. Bad advice includes: - rolling things into logs (time consuming and not space-saving), rather than using compression packing cubes which are quick and easy, organized and actually save a significant amount of space.
