Mail temi looks promising, but it's been around for a long time and only has two reviews, and no reputation. It's also not open source. How can I know that the app is trustworthy?

I switched all of my accounts from my 15 year old gmail address to a custom domain over the course of a few months, during which I monitored both inboxes. I used my password manager to keep track of which accounts I had updated. After about

You didn't hire the guy for his identity. You hired him to do work. See how his performance is. If it's not the level of performance you were expecting, fire him.

You're not wrong. And I'm no fan of government surveillance. But my own threat model isn't concerned with protecting myself against state actors. Simply put, I don't have the resources or time to be vigilant about that,

I was a bit bored in 2021 and going out a lot less than normal, so I had time to experiment with an Android phone using all open source privacy respecting apps. I managed to make it work, but it took quite a lot of my time and resources and

I'd love to see an ELI5 summary of what this is predicting globally for the upcoming season. It's interesting, but hard for me not being trained in this domain to really understand how to interpret such detailed information.

It seems to me that the author is very young, and very concerned about what others think of them. Which, to be fair, is something that often fades with age. I can remember when I was in my 20s, I found eating alone to be uncomfortable. But

The chances of becoming a person of interest will always be non-zero, but I think I a lot of people can be reasonably confident that they are not likely to become a person of interest.

I wonder why all of these settings are grouped together into a "mode" rather than giving users control over each of them individually. What if I want to block USB devices, but I want to be able to use shared photo albums?
