I would imagine somebody has floated this idea before, but I wonder if the distraction of hydrogen rather than electric cars was a ploy by Japanese automakers to give them time to build up the cars / supply chain etc to switch to elect

A good way to fix this and relieve the stress for the employees but get the PTO debt burden thing off the books is to just call it RTO.. recommended time off.. pick a number and say “while PTO is unlimited we have a recommended number that

I wonder if Matlab being most hated relates to people being forced to learn it in undergrad and it being poorly taught etc. I’ve found it very useful but it took a fair amount of time to build up the set of tricks to doing things right. I w

While AI definitely will be used to help artists, nobody would be happy with somebody being the first to brute force run through tons of prompts on stable diffusion and submitting copyrights on all of those.. imagine if Getty did that..

This seems great -- I hope this concept of improving C++ takes off -- telling people to just switch to Rust is pretty lame.. tons of huge code-bases exist that are C++.

I think the idea would be you need to empower the network of satellites in the sky to react quickly to a nuclear attack from another country, so you need to allow this “sky-net” to launch nukes at a moments notice without human intervention
