You sound like a supervisor there ;) “They didn’t break the rule! They engaged in the rules with purpose unlike those rule followers.” Though I’m not advocating your approach is incorrect.

I don’t think that fake deadlines are better than real ones. Fake deadlines can provide value but they indicate the environment is deficient in other ways: some sort of trust is lacking. The fake deadline is a bandaid on top of that. I thin

I find many of these financial sites to be close to BS. There’s a part they get right and part they get wrong: 1. “X happened” 2. “Because of Y” They usually get the first bit right—the facts. Unfortunately, they frequently BS the second pa

I learned about this a few weeks ago. It’s different than the default news view. I find it interesting and thought worth sharing more widely.

This is my approach. My website tyleo.com is just a bunch of CSS/HTML classic webpage stuff. If a page needs a small amount of JS I just bundle it ad-hoc. More complex pages get the full React/SPA treatment but it doesn’t mean the

I love how new technology becomes like religion. It develops both cult followers and critics. In that lens think the AI cult is more right than the Crypto cult. At least I can use it to do something tangible right now while crypto is still

Agreed. The whole financial news market seems to be like this though. I see headlines like, “Tesla drops on Cybertruck quality issues.” Get real, everyone knows the brand is damaged.

I’ll be honest, I think both sides are being manipulated in the sense that they each see the other as less over time. On their whole I think Democratic policies retain more sense at this point but a lot of bullshit snuck into Democratic thi

The real question is whether the fabs will ever come, or if they will be “too little too late”. As a former resident of Columbus, I’m skeptical of the Ohio government and Intel’s ability to get a value-positive operation running here. So mu
