I think the other problem with Stadia, and why both consumers and developers are wary of it, is simply due to its streaming idea. Even within major cities, internet connectivity can suck a lot. Couple that with data caps, and streaming game

I was homeless for half a year. Fortunately I was 19 at the time, and the military gave me a way to get out of that situation. I'm 37 now; if I became homeless, it would be much, much harder to get out of it.

This was interesting to read. I had no idea that Korea was trying to move to their own platform, nor did I know it’s been in the works for a decade. Crazy!

It seems to me they’re doing it partially because it’s cheaper in Canada ( compared to the US dollar ) as far as salaries, etc go. Pretty soon, rent is going to be too high for someone making 100k Canadian ( if it isn’t already )

Take this with a grain of salt: My wife, when she went to the hospital to be diagnosed, said that they had a separate room for those that were diagnosed with having the Wuhan virus, and a separate room for those that did not. She saw severa

My wife is mainland Chinese, and she has been saying that it a worse than what the government is saying. Also, since Li Wenliang died, well, frankly a lot of people are pissed at the CCP. Anyway, I feel like it’ll be an epidemic ( it alread

I wonder how different the internet would be if we had to pay a dollar a month to use certain search engines. Better privacy? Better search results with no ads? Honesty no idea, but I’d imagine if a million people paid me a dollar a month f

I love the tax argument. You're immediately forgetting State taxes, Social Security, Medicare, and such. That 34% quickly becomes 44 to 50% depending on where you live.

I think it's hilarious that the tech companies in the States say that they "can't find talent", and yet there are reasons for that. One: These companies want to pay less for more. Smart developers are not going to go for

Too bad they’re not doing more in other cities. My wife ( mainland Chinese ) said the hospital in Chongqing told here there were 24 confirmed cases there. She’s sick now and possibly has the Wuhan virus ( though her chest scans are clear ).

Eh. Slack and other chat programs are just as fine, and would enable less distractions. Don’t get me wrong, this is still a good idea. As a remote worker, I would not go for this solution. I already use slack, and google calendars. IMO I do
