It's interesting - how did you identify the expertise gap in the big firms? From their websites, they advertise that they can pretty much do everything under the sun. Also, interesting there's a checkbox for woman-owned-business.

Thanks for the great insights. As a specialist, do you partner with large firms like Accenture, Deloitte, etc? Or 2nd tier firms? And how formal do these partnerships need to be (ie word of mouth, contract)?

Spot on with cold calls/emails but on the contrary, all events are online and it’s easier at times to start conversations. 2020 could also be a good year because while not people are buying, there’s more time to explore and have conver

Based on my experience, it’s hard if you’ve never done it before but it gets easier when you absorb the learnings. Firstly, it starts with identifying a problem/frustration that your customers will value. You’ll need to be very specifi

Have you considered non-profit or social entrepreneurship? Although you may not plan to start a business, having the same mentality could help you figure how to obtain the resources you need to bring your dream to life.

Hilarious story as it sounded like the salesperson really followed his/her script quite religiously, which is quite unfortunate. I’d expect account managers to listen more than to talk but in general, most do not.

Actually retailers are far more sophisticated than you think. Plenty of data brokers work with them to help piece together a larger puzzle. Plenty of startups willing to help them get to the sophistication of Amazon as well. Still early day
