I believe (so don't take it as fact), if your turn signal is on and they're behind you, you have the right of way. IF they edge forward to the line (as many do, which I think is legal?) and are to your front-right you should wait.

I ride a bike and drive a car. And while doing both, I do my best to obey the laws and not injure other people. In Boston, and more specifically in my area of Cambridge we have major issues with drivers turning without looking at the bike l

I think in the long term you'd learn to cope with this, a lot of the user issues seemed to do with depth perception more than lag. I'd love to try this for a day but I think after a few minutes with the dev Rift you tend to strain

As someone who was nearly run down by a cyclist running a red while I walked a cross walk this weekend, I agree wholeheartedly. Boston is in a constant battle between cyclists and motorists and neither side is playing by the rules.

You just described the librarian from the movie Timeline. I think the issue is that we still don't really have a technology or medium that doesn't degrade when unplugged or plugged. Chemical mediums such as most optical media fail

Typically you serve up that content separately from the static content. We use it where it doesn't cache for logged in users but is on a rolling cache otherwise. Page updates invalidate the cache immediately as well. On a dynamic site

I'm in Boston and getting no one so maybe just no one is using it. I like the N people nearest your idea though.

Oh, are we already jumping on the bash Microsoft band wagon so soon? You seriously think a company like Microsoft did no usability testing? That'd be quite shocking as Metro itself utilizes a ton of new research on UX and interaction d

Sigh, poor Kodak. I was in their offices 3 years ago giving a presentation and the place was a boarded up ghost town. It was surreal to see how many floors were simply closed off.

Well IBM, Ford, Coca Cola, and Kodak helped the Nazi's so hopefully you're boycotting them too.

I take it you haven't tried PHPStorm then? We used NetBeans for a long time until we tried out PHPStorm and it is amazing how much better and faster it is.

That's a valid guess but we're seeing it intermittently in the office which is why I raised it.

While I agree, it doesn't address the issue where people decide to move. Even at my age I know networking is the best way to find the jobs you often want but excluding people because they aren't in your network is kind of limiting
