Pure frivolous anecdote about FF Whenever I’ve been lucky enough to get Glastonbury tickets it has been on Firefox When applying I run Chrome as well to cover that base. But for me the Firefox windows are the ones that make it through. YMMV

Godot WebGL is not production ready. It-kinda-works is as good as it gets. Godot webgl will not run on MacOS, defeating the whole point of WebGL/HTML5 “Godot 4's HTML5 exports currently cannot run on macOS and iOS due to upstream

Many ways. When you have a reference to something it is easy to add, query, change elements to that something Even unrelated things can be added this way (RigidBody, Raycasters) whereas Godot needs separate parallel node trees to accomplish

Unity so much more polished Unity has Timeline (and Cinemachine) Unity has Entity Component which is superior for many coders to Godot’s node system Unity has better 3D Unity has large bank of answered questions Unity exports to WebGL Unity

Does it have the sound of Tippex being carefully brushed onto the paper when you hit the backspace or delete or CTRL-x ? Then blowing sounds as you try to make it solid quicker?

Yes, they deserve payment. I was never going to use them for free or try to circumvent. Under the old system as soon as I got to $100k revenue all the developers needed a Pro license at roughly €1900 per annum.

Phaser cannot do 3D games well. Also, the Unity Asset store has so many great assets for me to use. And 3D tools like PlayCanvas are browser based for their editor too. Desktop apps still have a massive edge in productivity. Unity has Timel

I make WebGL multiplayer games using Unity. The original changes essentially shut me down. Yesterday, I just found out Unity has changed their definition to exempt WebGL games: a partial relief. I have little confidence Unity will stick to

I agree with you (born 1977). Saw Alien sometime in 80s Alien would be a solo but forgotten masterpiece like Man Hunter until James Cameron made Aliens. “Mother” is kept mysterious in Alien, relying too much on 1970s zeitgeist of technology
