The top data table, comparing AMP vs. non-AMP traffic, that makes up the reason for this investigation seems flawed. They did correctly isolate organic traffic to blog posts, however the "Trafico NO AMP" group might contain deskto

I've only answered the phone once with these scammers. I told them I was using a Mac and after confirming three times that it was a Mac, he said "you're a liar!" and hung up.

A simple way to try and block out bots is to just not allow your ads to show to Linux users. It's a tiny fraction of most website's traffic but the largest share of bot traffic. I'd further speculate that real desktop Linux u

We absolutely should not throw up our hands. To some extent, I appreciate that Google and Facebook are at least aware of the issue and want to act on it. My skepticism is that as a result of these efforts, Google and Facebook will be consid

Nearly all fact-checking organizations are considered to be biased and untrustworthy by a sizable percentage of the population. I'm skeptical that this will actually lead to change in people's critical thinking as applied to proce

My immediate reaction was to try and confuse it, so I played "Roll Call" from the Thomas show (kids are obsessed !) It's a bit chromatic so I thought it would have trouble, which it did. Next, I tried putzing around on the wh

1. Employees don't vote for their CEO. 2. There is strength in numbers. Your message might not get through but if it's the same message as 1,000 others it will. If you want change, cynicism like yours is crippling.

I don't think theaters make much, if anything at all, from ticket receipts. That's why concession are so overprice. Some theaters even flat-out tell you this. I think the "a la carte" model is much more realistic than th

The point is getting the public to care about this stuff. I don't think the average person spends much time thinking about politics. I think most may see some stuff online or on TV but are largely locked into their beliefs. You probabl
