It doesn't seem to apply in this particular case, but it's also important to note that having a trademark is different from having a registered trademark.

I'm interested in how Apple will respond when they encounter a useful feature but, by its nature, requires tracking to even function. :)

What about a feature that is both useful and, by its nature, requires tracking to even work? (not a dark pattern but technically depends on something that falls under the purview of tracking)

The market cap at the time was under $50 billion and Tesla was bleeding money, a structured bankruptcy seemed like a real possibility at the time (before the FSD fraud raise).

With level 2 driver assistance, you must always have your hands on the wheel and be in control of the vehicle, paying attention 100% of the time. Autonomous implies that the car is acting without human involvement. When you think about it,

You can definitely price things in a volatile currency but that doesn't mean the situation will be ideal. One just has to look at the research on the economic impact of currency volatility on emerging markets to see how this plays out.

Maybe he's realized that robotaxis as a justification for the company's valuation [1] is not going to work out as planned. Now he's decided to buy Bitcoin (from proceeds of newly issued shares) and pump that instead. [1] - h

Completely agree. Tests/specs are the best way to learn a system. The article barely even mentions tests and the scenario they describe revolves around the use verifying correctness when making your first change to the codebase. Not a

They didn't buy the company, they bought some of the assets. In an asset purchase you don't take on the liability of the company your purchasing the assets from. Pebble as a company will go into bankruptcy and cease to exist.
