Odd so someone tugs accidently on the power cable and the machine just shuts off? Magsafe seems like a great idea on a laptop. Not sure I see how it makes sense here.

Very dystopian to think Google is normalizing the idea enabling an ad tracking profile built into the browser itself. The very notion that users need to be tracked and fingerprinted/profiled from site to site is asinine. Advertising wo

Yes it is absolutely worse. The very notion that we need a identification profile that tracks are behavior is ridiculous. Contextual advertising works. If you visit a blog that covers tech hardware... advertisers can pay to put ads here

I agree for the US to pause the rollout is likely based on more data than 6 known cases of clotting. Not trying to be conspiratorial but my two cents is the authorities have more data then what is publicly being shared.

If you haven’t noticed the internet morphed into TV 3.0 over last few years. Don’t worry our corporate friends will let us know what is trending, what topics we should discus, and keep us safe!!!

We used to purchase a district site license for Adobe. Since they have moved to this nickel and dime subscription we haven’t purchased anything since CS6. Just not worth the money IMO.

Just a hunch but I suspect there may be more than “6” cases of blood clotting with the vaccine in the US.

The issue with FLoC is it based on a false premise. Advertising can be successful without needing to build a tracking profile on a person as they traverse multiple websites. For example if I visit a website that follows trends in computer

The F-35 makes me wonder if US military superiority is as great as it appears on paper. For example our military budget is 10 times that of russia. However does 1$ russia spends vs 1$ the US spends on equipment equate? Think it may be very

Why do we need user tracking at all. Advertisers can operate based on the sites that are relevant. For example let’s say a magazine website cpumagazine.com is popular. Advertisers for computer parts, computer services etc can pay to be a
