I would remove the fu stuff. But I appreciate your appreciation of prop 65. Even if tons of products still have the warning, the amount of lead in various things has dropped significantly since implemented.

Like $33 per month if it's 20 years, but the average is closer to 30 and can last as long as 50.

I wasn't thinking the risk was that the tech stack would change. The risk is that this new hire will generally try to avoid GQL (for example) as much as possible.

I think these companies know how to hire for their tech stack. I once had a job that was all Lotus script (VB basically) and Java with Domino. They just mention that's a plus but not required. They already know that no one has experien

So if you plan on building 4KW solar, and then decide to do 100X that, you can generate ~1800KWH per day (400 * 5 hours per day of ideal sun * fudge factor). If you have the battery storage for that you can probably get through 66 days from

The cool thing about solar panels is that they are recyclable like old clothes. People are super super happy buying 5 year old panels for $80 that are rated at 250 watts but are giving someone like 235 now.

A home needs so damn little maintenance. They're not providing that as a service. If the person owned a home maintained it - what fix a broken hot water heater for 600? And that's a reason to make more people required to rent?

I find it weird that people keep slamming copilot. IDEA (and other IDEs) have for years auto complete for for loops, functions and a few other things. The most this tool does is put in a couple of extra like 'user.someInterestingProper

Actually eating oneself to death doesn't really have a net negative on society. In fact the opposite. We don't HAVE to allocate money the way we do, the eating problems aren't the cause of bad monetary policy. In fact, there

As long as the $5000 is going to American hands only, that's probably a good thing. What we need to do is bolster companies that don't outsource the US $.

Well, I think all of them are dumb, including me. I'm not going to finger point at you specifically and call you dumb because that is rude (unfortunately yes, my subtext is). I'd say half of my choices are dumb, and yes when we fi

So backing up out of that for a second. Are you saying there are individuals (not part of a group, or a corporation) that are dead set on making computer peripherals that require an account?

I get that, but that's software on the main device. I guess yes, wording such a law will be a crap and a half.

I feel like if we try to increase the number, it will actually backfire.

I mean I don't see why this couldn't apply cart-blanche to all computers. I don't need to sign into MS, Mac to use the computers (though I do for my mac because of corp. policy). It has been getting harder, but fuck, why not

Facebook keeps asking Congress to make laws. How about this one: Peripherals, including mice, monitors, keyboards, VR headsets or any other device used to process input or output from a computer, may NOT be connected to any cloud service wi

Yeah sorry about the weird fractions. I've been doing a lot of building/wood working and being lazy at the computer. Both prices were PER PIPE. It was more expensive PER PIPE for the 2.375" pipe BEFORE and it is cheaper now.

2.375" Outside dimension. Plumbers use inside dimension, this would probably be a 2" pipe for them. This is an outdoor fencing application and this place refers to it's outside dimension because there are other vendors that m

Here's an upside. I've been waiting for 2 3/8 inch x 8 foot structural pipe for 3 months from a ranch store I shop at. Before prices went crazy I paid $26. They FINALLY got some in yesterday and the price was $22 per pipe!!!!

There are a lot of Canadian pipeline companies that pull this shit all over the US.
