Elon has many issues but a characterizing him as a “monster”? Sounds like an affirmation of someone whose heart isn’t really in what they are saying but they have to to toe the party line.

The dressing up is an interesting one. I always felt uncomfortable wearing formalwear on the subway in rougher areas at night. No one bothered me though ( because of clothes, I got the usual aggressive riders other times).

I don’t quite see how pointing out to the cashier that you’re being overcharged makes someone neurodivergent. I catch wrong prices all the time and say in a friendly tone “hey can I just get you to double check that, I though I saw it was $

This has been my experience too, I missed out more by being sidlined during good times than I saved. Personally as an engineering mindset person I am good at identifying likely failure modes of companies (i.e. reality) but rarely anticipate

Something that has always bothered me is what is line between archaeology and grave robbing? Whose burial rituals do we respect and whose do we get to regard as a source of information about ancient history?

I wonder why they don’t have a human on the ground ready to fly it like a drone via sattelite as soon as the pilot is no longer capable of flying. Sure sattelite is probably way too slow to really maneuver a jet but seems better than crashi
