This answers my comment how? Please see below comment regarding vertical integration. I would never argue that “Elon related company X” will succeed because Elon. Honestly a lot of vitriol in these comments. I’m out.

“Dumb”. Is that a financial term? Or a legal term? Perhaps we are able to benefit from hindsight? I’m just saying that, calling vertical integration by a company that doesn’t have widespread industry support and is moving very fast and nee

Damned if Elon does. Damned if he don’t. “An electric vehicle is worthless without electric charging stations.” So Tesla makes a risky move to save one such company that happens to provide an answer to that criticism. People pile on. Predic

To those complaining about the commute. You’re complaining about city and transportation architecture, not workplace design. We are social creatures. I don’t understand the complete lack of addressing the issue: 8 hours a day I’m cut off fr

Just a thought. The entire user data / data broker business is just businesses “scraping” my digital presence. No one is respecting my terms and conditions. They’re making trillions off that.

You don't address CAP or Active Management Areas. You can't talk about Arizona water without talking about CAP and AMAs. There is a real issue of water usage outside of the AMAs. There has been since I left AZ in 2007. But yes, it

I find it weird we worry about a “Malthusian” catastrophe still. The theory being proposed in 1798. What is the Information Age version? That deals with, “when do we kill the earth by our attempts to get everyone a cellphone?”

If you're curious you could have googled something like "rate of growth of amazon deforestation". If you would, you'd have seen in the summary of the 1st result from Wikipedia: "The annual rate of deforestation in t

If you’re gonna use math to show how unimpressed you are, I’d be more impressed if you factored in the increased rate of clearing over time.

I think what most comments critical of this article are missing is the “History” portion of the title. Sure. At the moment it isn’t ridiculous to create headphones that must be broken and thus trashed to replace the battery. But, when clima

A quick google, the top three results said average was 50k-60k. One result said the top 10% make low 6 figures. I doubt the majority of officers in those lines are top 10%, almost by simple math.
