This will be a great tool! Think about how many hours you’ll save creating concept boards. The only trick will be to get this thing to spit out several different styles of the same image so you can match the style your going for. I’m not se

Even if we have a downturn, rents tend to continue to rise and housing prices don’t tend to drop more than 8% avg. obviously local markets can vary. My point is, these things can last 40 years. Human adulthood isn’t that long, you might not

Honestly, I don’t understand the entitlement that causes someone to have to write this. Having experienced the “overwhelmed with requests” thing myself, I now find myself thinking anyone who becomes demanding of open source maintainers is n

I mostly end up using map, filter, for in and for of. Occasionally you still need a good “old fashioned” for loop but in my mind it’s more clear to use that then forEach. While loops have their own special powers for recursion so those are

This may have felt very uncommon to the author, but most of the things I read seems absolutely normal. Title inflation is real at smaller companies. You maybe a “executive staff engineering fellow” at a smaller shop but at the larger compan

I have two kids and I’ll be the first to tell people who ask that it’s not for everyone. First, maybe with climate change none of us should. Second, you have to be ready to stick with things even when you don’t think you can, like literally

I have to agree. The article quotes sound right and wonderful, but thinking about the environment in which I work, there’s not really a practical way to combine our efforts. We simply wouldn’t get things done in time. Division of labor ensu

I take it to mean people like my dad will end up with some “virus scanner” sideloaded app that he thinks he needs on his iPhone because he saw a pop up on one of the NRA related conspiracy websites he visits. Having just reinstalled everyth

Vanilla JS is more rare these days. I interview 2-3 devs per week and always ask basic vanilla JS questions since it’s vital for our workflow that you don’t rely on frameworks we may or may not be using. Knowing react/vue is a bonus, b

If you value material possessions only then your right. However, the past generations in my family were able to have one working parent and still provide for the family. I have a wonderful “tech job” and still need my wife to work fill time

As a manager, I can’t even imagine a scenario where I would require someone to be online at a certain time. Maybe it’s the type of work or business requirement that causes this behavior, but I view this as such a violation of autonomy that
