If you value material possessions only then your right. However, the past generations in my family were able to have one working parent and still provide for the family. I have a wonderful “tech job” and still need my wife to work fill time so we can raise our two kids and we still can’t purchase a house. Anecdotally, I don’t understand how we are better off, but you are correct; the tvs are much higher resolution in 2021.
