Isn't this a problem inherent with dogfooding, and not isolated to Facebook? Building it and using it doesn't mean you want to in the first place. >It’s always a sign of trouble when you’ve built something you don’t want to use yourself

LayerVault issued a DMCA Takedown because of it [1]. They did it because there were some assets that appear to be directly stolen [2] and were subsequently changed after the DMCA takedown. In the discussion threads, you'll find a lot of dis

I'm hardly technically competent, and S3 has served me very well for static files. I've dabbled around with their other products to learn a bit here and there and have definitely been overwhelmed, but S3 is really really simple.

Is that at all mitigated by tools like HootSuite or other corporate Twitter clients that allow multiple people to manage an account? I'm not saying that it's acceptable that Twitter leaves that in the hands of vendors/users, I'm genuinely c

To add some context, LayerVault posted a blog post outlining "The Flat Design Era"[1]. While the term has been used before in various context, to me, the post seemed to ignite a lot of discussion in the tech/design community about flat desi
