Man I struggle with the tone of these type of twitter messages. It’s almost like reading something from ChatGPT, the formula being make everything sound as matter of fact as possible and make “bold” predictions so that people will disagree&

Half response/half commentary: I think it just comes down to if you see yourself as an entertainer or not. Social media based on a social graph forces you to be niche because you have to be that proxy for interest. i.e. it's. bett

Totally. I think they did the exact right thing. Brilliant strategy because not only does it kick start the network, but it introduces a entirely new group of people to text based social media that never tried/were into Twitter.

This isn't a critique of Threads, this a commentary on the nature of social graphs and different identities in different spaces. People use IG different than they use Twitter, FB, LinkedIn, etc. You could get the same experience on Twi

Wow. Beautifully articulated. What a pleasant reply to read. I don’t have an argument regarding my position other than I agree that what you’re saying is true and that getting people like me to care and make sacrifices not just today but ev

There is no way I am going to spin up my own worse LLM so a few people will make less money. Even if it was 1-5% better. It's just not worth the time.

Good points. Especially about our discussion here. I guess I would narrow it and say as long as it’s not a commentary on the article itself then no worries! If someone is commenting on the article without reading then I still feel like I wo

I’m definitely not in favor of capping the amount of profit a company can make. If they are raising prices (amount of ads shown) and people continue to pay then I can’t fault them for it. As I type this I realize that both you and the perso

I understand just reading the comments for all the reasons you mentioned, but how can you contribute to the discussion when you never took the time to understand what the discussion was about? It’s like debating the validity of what the 10t

Grab YouTube premium to not see ads. You have to pay for it somehow, either you watch ads for free or you swap out your LTV for cash by just paying outright. This isn’t a mark of degradation at all. “Back in the day” of non-monetization isn

Just seems like forced outrage. They’ve added tons and tons more content than they’ve removed. Net-net you have more content than you bought. Like adding 10 channels and then taking away the hallmark channel.

A lot of people in this thread should start consultancies that transition companies off the cloud. Apparently, it would be easy for them to save tens of millions, in turn making millions for the consultant.
