Salesforce buying Slack made absolutely no sense, but I find the comparison to Teams strange. IME orgs use Teams when they're already in the Microsoft ecosystem since there isn't a great argument for purchasing Slack when you alre

At $599 a month per employee. I also still need the answers to all of those questions per country, even if Remote is the company handling it.

If you told me the story of NFTs was a joke on Silicon Valley I’d say you were being over the top.

I'm horrified by so many of the comments here that seem to lack even the most basic of human decency. Allow me to fill people in for those who have never uprooted your life and moved across the world for a job. It is a massive commitme

That’s horrible to do to people. Imagine being the Stadia employees who lied to developers while management knew for months that they were shutting it down. My respect for Google continues to plummet.

Yeah I’d be glad to talk about it. Was part of a team that was asked to design a whistleblowing software platform for large corporate and government customers. The rest of the stack was RDS Postgres but this whistleblowing app had super dif

DevOps as suggested before would be a decent fit but that will require quite a bit of training as you go. I don't know if you have the appetite for that or not. I have a coworker in a similar situation who pivoted to being really the a

I love this sort of bold thinking and think it’s long past due as part of the climate change conversation. Too much has been made of technical solutions I think in part because there is a motivation among those who design and sell that tech
