What about rethinking to what extent large cities are and will still be necessary? Thanks to the internet, lots of jobs that required going into an office every day can now be done remotely. As collaboration tools get better, I'm hopin

No one clicks on a link to buy a car not because no one wants to, but because, unless you're buying a Tesla, you can't, you have to buy through a dealership.

The real purpose of this app isn't the rating system, that's just the hook to get people to run this app and point the camera out their dashboards. The real purpose is to crowdsource collecting data about the drivers on the road i

This is a bit of a tangent, but could you expand on that? I'm interested in getting CarPlay in my next car, but I'd like to know what some of the limitations and downsides are.

Why is it that every discussion about Netflix somehow devolves into a discussion about their hiring/firing practices?

While I'm sure that Apple would love it if everyone owned a Mac, iPhone, and Apple Watch, there are lots of people out there that may only own a Mac, or own a Mac and an Android phone. I think Apple would still prefer that these people

I have a 64GB iPhone SE. What I really wanted was a 128GB SE, but sadly such a thing does not exist.

Checksumming is the thing that I want the most from a new Apple FS. I really hope they include it at some point.

On the iPhone, the always-on "Hey Siri" activation is actually local on the device. You can test this out by activating Airplane Mode and saying "Hey Siri". The interface comes up, then says that you can't use Siri

This is huge! I can understand that they wouldn't want to devote a lot of time to it, but I can't believe this wasn't even mentioned in the keynote. It is a developer conference after all.

Maybe Square too/instead. The ability to send cash through an iMessage with Square was demoed in the keynote, and I have to think that Apple would have really liked to have been able to do that themselves with Apple Pay.

You're right, there are lots of reasons why manufacturers want to make larger phones, and there are lots of reasons why some people want to buy larger phones. I don't think that these reasons are wrong, but I also think it's

Yeah, I don't think that all that junk added to Messages would have been added under Steve Jobs. Not that I think that's a bad thing, but it's definitely a notable departure away from clean and simple and minimal to something

I am really curious how the features they said were activated by 3D Touch will work on a non-3D Touch iPhone. I'm guessing that, like iOS 9, you won't get the menus on the home screen, but what about the notifications on the lock

One huge problem with wireless is that pairing and re-pairing sucks. If I want to use my wired headphones with a different device - be it an iPhone, iPad, computer, etc, all I need to do is plug in the cable. I'd really hate to have to

It seems pretty likely now, with the addition of unlocking via the Apple Watch and using an iPhone to authenticate web payments on a Mac, that Apple will be adding a fingerprint sensor to a future MacBook.
