Where can I stream that?
- masklinn 10y agoYou probably can't. You couldn't any previous year AFAIK, though they publish the sessions online afterwards (an other commenter posted the 2015 one)
- kylec 10y agoSo essentially a big middle finger from Apple to anyone not attending the conference. Sigh.
- judofyr 10y agoThe fact that they publish the sessions online afterwards doesn't sound like a "big middle finger" to me. Is it that important to view it live?
- TeMPOraL 10y agoOr, maintaining the feeling of exclusivity of the event.

- aethant 10y agoDo you attend a lot of paid conferences that stream live for free in real time? That must be cool.
- jamesjguthrie 10y agoGoogle I/O does.
- pantalaimon 10y agoCCC does it
- foothrowjdhdb 10y agodeveloper.apple.com @2:30 pst
- skygazer 10y agoThe WWDC app on HR new Apple TV has the live stream, starting shortly.
- rarepostinlurkr 10y agohttps://developer.apple.com/wwdc/live/#/ https://developer.apple.com/wwdc/live/#/. It's streaming there now.
- porsupah 10y agoHere, though not available just yet: https://developer.apple.com/videos/play/wwdc2016/102/ https://developer.apple.com/videos/play/wwdc2016/102/ Via the index for WWDC 2016 videos: https://developer.apple.com/videos/wwdc2016/ https://developer.apple.com/videos/wwdc2016/
- aardshark 10y ago"Streaming is available in Safari and through the WWDC app." ...is nobody else getting this message? Or am I just the only one who thinks this is bullshit? Here is a direct link to the mp4: http://devstreaming.apple.com/videos/wwdc/2016/102w0bsn0ge83qfv7za/102/102_hd_platforms_state_of_the_union.mp4 http://devstreaming.apple.com/videos/wwdc/2016/102w0bsn0ge83...
- ascagnel_ 10y agoApple's been using HTTP live streaming for a few years; to date, nobody else fully supports it (although Edge has some limited support). Twitch also has HTTPLS support; you can watch their streams in Safari without Flash installed.
- aardshark 10y agoSure, but seeing as the live stream is over, you'd think they'd just autoplay the saved video instead. I didn't actually notice that there are links to the videos in the Resources tab, so I guess it's not as bad as I thought.
- wlesieutre 10y agoYou can also open the HLS streams with VLC
