Having been involved in product design at startups & (very) large companies, I can unfortunately say this is what happens at most of the big Co's. Which is why we try to avoid working with large companies and rather partner up with

I’ve been helping startups design interfaces (B2B SaaS mostly) for 12+ years [1]. Here are my insights: the big misconception is that design is important in every stage of your startup. Which is not the case. Design becomes important aft

What’s not super well known is that when Dropbox went for a major rebranding/redesign, they did it for growth reasons. I remember many people (here on HN and elsewhere on the web) were horrified about their new design. But the reason t

Looks fantastic. I'm tinkering with a better way to communicate with text (Slack just doesn't work), but this seems to be really great for video meetings.

It seems they’re putting all of their money on VR. It depends on how that evolves over the next couple of years.

I’ve worked with managers from big co’s as well as directly with many startup founders. Helping mainly B2B SaaS teams with Product Design [1] This article is written from a corporate pov, judging founders and founding teams, which are funda

RSS is a strange beast. It’s one of the more useful things on the internet, but it seems to never really have caught on. Any thoughts on why?

For the last 12 years, I’ve worked with 40+ different software teams (helping with UI/UX design [1]). From small scrappy startups to fortune 500. The teams that were great to work with and ended up having the biggest wins, were always

Would be cool if you could still work offline and sync designs once you’re connected again. Not just in this case, also for when traveling or working in places with no internet connection.
