Andreessen makes some really excellent points in there, but there a few that just strike me as incorrect: > Another classic Krugman rhetorical maneuver. According to Paul, keeping prices low is a sign of monopoly power, but of course he’

I think it is out of context and isn't what he means. I think he means to say that women should be able to trust the system to give them a raise if they have earned it, not that they can trust the current system or should trust the cur

I think ultimately than it would be best to move on, tell the cofounders what you suspect is happening and let them know they are losing top talent because of it. Its really unfortunate that you have to do that in 2014, but it might be the

Oh its more innocent than discrimination. Is it stupid business practices? Sure. Is it illegal? Its not. Im not suggesting people should do it, you should pay an employee what they are worth the business, but ultimately things that are lega

How certain are you this happening? Have you talked to the cofounders? I'm not suggesting its not happening, and its certainly a lawsuit if it is the case but be damn sure that they are doing it before you take any legal action/go

Capital Hill is one of my favorite places in Seattle. Lots of diversity and bars though some are a little shady. It doesn't surprise me that it has a high walk score. Lots of grocery stores, great places to eat all walkable if you live

This only makes sense. The amount of multi-million dollar seed rounds has increased and people want the best office space to attract employees. The more competition in the market for the best office space, the more people can charge and the

After working many corporate jobs over the years, this kind of rhetoric seems trite and overused. "We are stream-lining our processes and going to empower our employees to change the world!!!!". So many corporations that fell behi

You are missing some key options, 3-6 times a week (which is the category I fall under). Exercise is important to ensure that the body stays healthy, and thats important so the mind can stay sharp. Eating right and exercising can have a pro

This falls under the category of too little too late. I get that traditions change throughout history, I get that some things that are acceptable now were unacceptable even 10 years ago, but this is a case where people should have looked th

I'm not going to say that I'm the best programmer, because I'm not. However, here is some advice: 1 ) Your English isn't bad, but I'd work on it everyday. Think of it as a programming language, and try to learn some

As someone who has used both, I have to give this battle to Node.js and Socket.io. The ease of use because of the common client/server code almost blurs the line between the client and server and makes it almost a pleasure to use. Wher

This is so sad on many different levels. A guy who clearly liked working on this module has to make a choice to walk (which is his choice) because people get offended by pronouns. I seriously don't like where all this is headed: where
