Think of a market maker as a used car dealer. Alice has a car that she wants to sell today and Bob wants to buy a car, but he won't be ready to until next week. The dealer will buy Alice's car today and hold it until Bob wants to

I agree. I understand paying remote workers less than someone on site since there may be productivity gains that come from that. However, remote is remote. Once someone is a remote employee it should make no difference if they're in Ma

It's not _that_ unexpected in this case. In short, SNAP's IPO was big enough that most of the banks which like the company participated in the IPO. Legally anyone involved in the IPO can't publish an analysis for (IIRC) 10 da

That seems backwards to me. When I lived in suburbia grocery shopping was always a "trip" 5+ min drive, find a place to park, walk through the parking lot into a large store, etc. Grabbing even one thing meant at least 15 min of o

A lot of people who don't want to lie (which may not be illegal, but I wouldn't recommend it personally) will get a starter pistol. They're cheap, small, safe (don't fire rounds, just blanks) and legally have to be decla
