Too lazy to look them up but there have been studies done showing that eating while watching tv causes you to eat significantly more calories than just eating. The word mindfulness gets thrown around a lot but that doesn’t necessarily negat

They seem serious about privacy but also their user experience. While that would be a win for privacy it would be a huge loss for most users. Apple also has a duty to prioritize user preferences. I’m saying this as a non user of any of the

As a landlord in the US I have to sign a lead paint disclosure every year for my tenants stating I have no knowledge of lead paint on the property. This may be state specific though.

Try /r/hnblogs. It was created specifically to promote contributors of hacker news. I’ve never submitted anything but I’ve read and commented on quite a few articles I’ve read from that subreddit.

The outage yesterday reminded me of how many other services do the exact same thing. The only app I use by FB is WhatsApp and it wasn’t too bad using signal, FaceTime and sms to communicate.

Use a most recent first timeline like the old Facebook used to do. Stop manipulating people’s emotions to get them to click on ads by controlling the newsfeed. That’s a good start anyway.

I don’t remember the actual marketing message as it was about 7 years ago, but I know in the TOS it was carefully written to include that it had to collect some ip info to prevent fraud.

I was COO of a vpn company for several years. It’s almost impossible not to keep any ip info. We had issues with fraud and one of the best ways to prevent or limit it was to track IP address and save it for several months. I agree PM shoul

I really like James Clear’s book Atomic Habits. While it doesn’t specifically discuss procrastination in detail it does have some incredibly well thought out ideas for building good habits and breaking bad ones.
