Not OP. Also, I generally detest hype culture and hated the Web3/Crypto bubble. I'm a SW who works as the CTO of a small startup studio, so I end up dealing with a lot of everything -- from coding, to managing and hiring people, t

I’m 30 and been this way since at least 19. I can’t stand most darkmode implementations because they often suck. Good ones are nice. I love coding with white themes and full brightness. Never feel tired. Very lucky in that sense.

If enough players play via Proton and want to stay that way, then the subset of the Win32 API that is well supported for Proton can itself become the standard. MS might add new APIs, but developers may choose to keep the old ones, therefore

Replying to myself, can't edit (again). I eventually decided that in my previous comment we could replace "truly" with "sincerely" and it is, in my opinion, _miles_ better. I eventually also thought of a third one:

This is my take at translating the original. Punctuation is my own but I think it reflects the original poem. The poet is a faker. He fakes so thoroughly that he even fakes as pain the pain he feels truly. Or for a more

Fernando Pessoa is my inspiration. As a teenager, his heteronyms shaped my life. Not because of being heteronyms, but because of the philosophies of life that they taught, and how they differed. Pessoa taught me that there there can be a fu

I have devised a technique to get ChatGPT4 to tell me things it shouldn’t (like how to produce cocaine or explain anal sex in detail) and in the process I often get ChatGPT4 to do things like these. Funnily enough I can’t use the same techn

Why outsource to India? Pick any random set of Software Engineers from any country. I guarantee you that you are more likely to find people who can develop fast on an RPi than on an ESP32. Now if you're a startup needing to build very

Would you apply the same logic to drugs like cocaine, MDMA or similar? They, too, can be taken and handled with care and moderation, yet are outlawed (even if sometimes only at the "distribution/dealing" level)

Oof, now that's a story that can be told in many ways. Short & Simple: I never had the need to ride a bike, I never felt like I wanted to (when i was young), and no one ever decided to teach me. I lived on a 13th floor until I was

I was in Paris for work two weeks ago and fell in love with it. What a wonderful city! Even though I (shamefully) don't know how to ride a bike, I was amazed at how many bikes there were and how bike accessible everything was.

I think I very rarely woke up earlier than 7h30 or 8h30 as a kid. I recall school starting usually at 9am. Nowadays I struggle to get up before 10h30[1] (I set all my meetings starting at 10h30, and usually wake up 10 minutes before them --
