Over all no it's not as we have population declines everywhere outside the USA and Africa. Canada is a good example of that, we have a lollipop demographic, lots of old people, not enough young. Housing is going to crash here over the

Always been my thinking on the logistical side of the equation. You need everyone to have VR gear at a ubiquitous level similar to monitors and I just don't see that happening. AR is a much easier sell with a much lower cost to entry

That doesn't mean the product/market fit can still fall short. I've just never been convinced that VR, at the hardware distribution level, will hit a high enough saturation point to become ubiquitous. AR I still feel will hav

This is the thing I'll say about this tech. I have lane assist and drive assist in my new car and I really do love it for highway driving, it's pretty suttle overall but very useful. Feels like a solid backup and less of self driv

Tbh it was only the SRI confirmation that caught my eye. I've mostly written this off but was curious what the relevance of it was as it did seem to be verified by an independent body. The question of if the tech can actually be used f

I don't see VR solving the issue per say, the tech is already there it's more a value prop issue, ie how to package it all together and make it work. Games like DayZ handle positional audio very well but a 3D engine is overkill wh

It's easy, just fire or cancel anyone's funding and boom, you get consensus. Also nice way to conflate two different issues, all we are saying is the political engine in play gives zero shits about the environmentalism.
